At the heart of Salt and Scent is founder Rachel, whose lifelong love for finding any excuse for a celebration led her to pursue an illustrious career as a wedding and events specialist. With over 15 years’ of experience running weddings for exacting clients at some of the Cotswolds’ most prestigious wedding venues and private homes, Rachel finally decided to take the leap and create a wedding and events consultancy that allowed her creativity to flourish, working with the suppliers she loves at the venues, homes and locations she adores.

I love any excuse for a celebration, and since childhood I have been described as a perfectionist. From my first part-time jobs working in prestigious hotels, and outside catering I have been learning and obsessing over the events industry.
I'm a country girl at heart; living on our farm in South Gloucestershire. We built our own house and I adore looking at interiors and fashion for event design inspiration....I may have an unhealthy shopping habit for life's luxuries!
My biggest promise to you is that I will understand you personally to ensure that your big day is entirely unique to you. My creativity alongside militant organisation skills means that everything will not only look beautiful, but will be executed to perfection.
