Weekend weddings in the Cotswolds are our favourite brief, and this early summer celebration was one we’ll never forget. With three full days of love, laughter, and unforgettable experiences, every detail was curated to bring the couples families and friends together in a setting that showcased the very best of the Cotswolds.
The celebrations began in the charming Cotswold village of Broadway at the historic Lygon Arms. On the hottest day of the year, the couple exchanged vows in an intimate legal ceremony surrounded by their immediate family.
After the vows, they enjoyed drinks and canapés on the terrace, followed by a relaxed, private lunch in The Champagne Bar that continued late into the evening. It was the perfect way for both families to come together before the weekend of celebrations ahead, and get formally married.
Bride Lily stunned in a stylish bridal jumpsuit, paired with Vivienne Westwood accessories and statement shoes that were nothing short of iconic. The day was filled with warmth, laughter, and an atmosphere of anticipation for what was to come.
The next chapter of the wedding weekend took us to Daylesford Organic, where guests checked into the dreamy Daylesford Village accommodation and the Wild Rabbit Inn. Behind the scenes, our team were busy at Heritage House to prepare for the following day, and met with the couple to do a final run though together with a glass of Pol Roger…of course!
As the sun began to set, everyone gathered for a relaxed welcome supper in the Glasshouse at Daylesford Organic. With signature Loubé Rosé flowing throughout the evening. Guests mingled and settled into the relaxed, yet elegant atmosphere that set the tone for the celebrations ahead.
The final day brought the main wedding celebration at the stunning Heritage House, where the outdoor ceremony overlooking the wildflower meadow and sweeping Cotswold countryside was beautifully led by India Bel. The celebrations kicked off after the confetti exit with a Champagne reception, and guests were captivated by talented magician Pete Heat who seemed to blow everyone’s minds!
For the wedding breakfast, Daylesford’s sustainable ethos shaped every detail; from seasonal florals to the bespoke seasonal menu. The atmosphere was relaxed yet refined, filled with emotion, joy, and plenty of laughter. Midway through dinner, the Undercover Artists surprised everyone with an impromptu performance that had the entire room singing and dancing. The energy was simply electric.
Later in the evening, a hidden party space was revealed, complete with a disco ball ceiling and dramatic cold sparks. Projected images from the intimate legal ceremony brought everything full circle, adding a deeply personal touch. Guests danced late into the night before being chauffeured back to their accommodation. Our team carefully curated and managed every element of the guest experience from start to finish. From the outset it was important to the family to show their appreciation for how far everyone had travelled to be there, and it was a joy to see guests delight in the thoughtful touches created just for them
